StashKey Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 14, 2026

StashKey does not collect, transmit, or share any of your data. Everything you save stays on your device.

No data collection

StashKey contains no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs that collect data. We do not operate any server that receives your information, and we have no access to anything you store in the app.

On-device storage

All items you add — gift cards, notes, two-factor (2FA) codes, and IDs — are stored locally on your device. They are never uploaded anywhere.

Full Access (keyboard)

The StashKey keyboard asks for “Allow Full Access” for one reason only: to read the items you have saved (from a shared on-device container) so it can insert them when you tap them. The keyboard does not record what you type, and it makes no network connections. Nothing you type is captured or sent anywhere.

Camera

The camera is used only to scan standard QR codes when you set up a two-factor authentication code. Scanning is performed entirely on your device; no images are stored or transmitted.

No account

StashKey does not require an account, sign-in, or any personal information to use.

Data deletion

Because your data lives only on your device, deleting the app permanently removes all of the data you saved in it.

Children’s privacy

StashKey does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
